So I buy a 2002 Winnie 32V w/the V10, and it has the Banks System, intake, headers, trans command or whatever it's called. Now according to the SMOG Test Guys and Banks, all of that is legal in California. Is the 5Star programming legal or does it make changes that are beyond what CARB allows?
Another question, who can check on the programming and performance of the stuff from Banks. On a resent trip, I experienced the trans shifting on miniscule grades and the next day, virtually no down shifting on very slight grades.
Mileage was better going out than coming back.
