D.E.Bishop... I have 5 Star Tuning installed and I passed smog test for 2 years in a row here in Nevada just fine.
As to performance test you need to go to a dyno machine to have it tested, but it needs to be done before performance equipment is installed and afterwards to see any improvments.
Also my experience with Banks tuner vs 5 Star tuner is that 5 Star is more better for a motorhome and Banks is more geared towards race mode.
{ also Banks might require higher octane where as 5 Star does not }
Banks headers/exhaust/air intake is best in that area of performance but 5 Star tuner is better over Banks Tuner for motorhomes as I see it.
