Banks Upgrade Question... Voids Ford Drive Train Warranty?

I've got a 2012 30' Itasca MH with the Ford V-10 engine and have about another year on my drive train warranty.

I'm planning on spending about $4000 on a Banks upgrade for more horsepower and torque. I called Ford to ask it install would void my warranty and they could not give me a straight answer. The Banks folks said the install would not be any problem with the Ford warranty.

Has anyone had problems with this or have a definitive answer before I spend my hard earned money.

    IF FORD can prove that 'Banks Programmer' caused a failure then it would not be covered item under warranty.

    IF they can prove it..........course they will not authorize warranty repairs and you will have to prove programmer didn't cause it.


    In other words...assume you will have FORD warranty issues with any programmer that is installed regardless if it casuses issues or not.
