Yes, you can use any conventional coil cleaner. Alkaline base is safer than acid base cleaners. You can use a pump up sprayer to apply the coil cleaner and the same sprayer with clean water to rinse. The sprayer has pressure to get into the coils but low volume so the drain can handle it.
