A 20 year old unit is not a problem, as long as it's well taken care of. You'll know instantly when you see it, if it was neglected or maintained. If it's a 95 model, it will not have a slide. They started putting slides in them starting in about 97 or 98. I would not buy one without a slide. It literally makes it feel like a mansion compared to a non-slide. And the resale will be a lot more if you decide to sell it. I figure with mine, I paid $32k and also got a car all setup to tow. The nada value on my coach is $38k, the car blue book is $11,500, and the tow bar, brakes, etc. was probably $4k brand new. I got about a $50k setup for $32k. If you take off the car, I could have probably gotten the coach for $22k. I see plenty of them in phoenix craigslist for under $30k with slides. That's where I found mine. Look on craigslist, they have an RV section. You can hit the "by owner" button and see only ones that are being sold privately. The best deals can be had on craigslist.com
