Besides cleaning the filter is there anything else needed to be done to basement air for maintenance

one time every year the coils should be inspected and cleaned if needed.
the condensate pan should be flushed with clean water.
all elecrtical connections should be checked for tightness
check the fan blades for cracks or loose rivits. clean them if needed
there are some steel parts that if showing signs of rust should be wire brushed and touched up with rustolium paint
