A while ago I started post about tiling the bathroom, well it turned into more than just that including a new vanity cabinet (reconfigured), I took the terrible shower accordion doors out and installing a bow curtain rod, relaminated the countertop. I also shortened back the toilet platform so I can stand in front of it with both feet on the ground. Going to buy the Dometic 310 soon too, but for now my Galaxy will be going back in.

Where did you buy the New wood veneer and did you use tile, or Vinyl ?Waiting on the finished photos..but looking good...

The old cabinet frame was vinyl covered MDF and had swelled on the bottom due to toilet overflow. That is ceramic tile with elastomeric grout that comes in a caulk tube

well, the twin gaskets did not work with the silicone, as soon as I stretched the gasket around the lip on the bottom of the toilet it came apart. The silicone won't hold while the one above is being stretched. I speed off to menards to try a wax ring but they wont fit over the lip on the toilet due to the plastic inside the wax. I'm using super now, so I will see if that works, if not I'm going to take a die grinder and lesson the OD of the toilet lip so the wax ring fits over. Other than that I might have to look at the flange extender kits again. Oh well back at it tomorrow

So did you end up using that wax ring? or a flange extension?
I used the 2 stock seals super glued together like the picture a few post back

like the look of those, look like they would hold well, the original cabinet door latches are odd, they have a pin shaped thing that goes into the hole latch thats fastened to the frame, but for some reason they are not cheap? The magnets might not be strong enough for road travel. Do you have a link for those latches?

We have a panel under our fridge that is held in place by two cabinet door latches below. It has never moved while traveling.

Or, how about rare earth magnets?

I placed the removable door/panel on that is right tight to the toilet, I used four of the spring clip door catches but they do not hold real well and I dont want that door falling off going down the road. Any of you have a idea of what to hold that in place but still be able to remove it? I thought about Velcro but then I have to add material inside the frame to attach that.
