The more experience you have with RV's , cars and home maintenance the more you will realize that plumbing, electrical and mechanical stuff all needs periodic maintenance or replacement. Otherwise, you'll be disappointed often. There are a lot of good DIY how-to videos on You Tube for basic maintenance and replacement work. We have friends who don't know how to operate a screwdriver and took their RV to a dealer on a schedule for maintenance, costs a lot but may be easier for those who can afford it.
