The tub has always been slow to drain, ever since I purchased it. But I bought a plunger and just went to town on it and it did nothing. You'd see the water start to swirl as it would go down and then it would just stop and I'd plunge it again.Well, I happened to be doing dishes and when I let the water out of the kitchen sink, I ran into the bathroom and low and freaking behold, the sink water went up into the tub.WTH is going on?

I assume your gray tank is not full?Get a Zip It. They're about $2.50 at Lowe's or Home Depot.Any hardware store will have them..

As you may have guessed by now the grey tank is designed to back up into the tub when it's full.

It shouldn't be full yet but my monitor light doesn't work for either the gray or the black tank. I'll dump it all tomorrow and see if it gets better. Thanks for the advice.It's called a "zip it"?

That is one way to tell that you need to dump the gray water tank, when the water backs into the shower pan.Idiot lights for gauges are not reliable and most do not work anyway, specially the cheap ones in C class RV's, mine quit about the 3rd month and I have not used them since 2002, grey water backing into tub, time to dump grey.Black water showing in toilet tube time to dump black tank, in any case my wife can hear the noise change when the black needs dumping, she is one hell of a sensor. navegator

Yes, Zip It. Click on the link I provided. You slide it down the drain and it grabs hair, etc., when you pull it out.
