Yup agm's have electrolyte the same as flooded--except the jar is sealed with a one way valve. If the charge voltage is too high the agm will gas--when the pressure becomes great enough it will vent the gas.

You don't want to evaporate water out of your AGM batteries slowly over time ... because it can't be replaced.
