Batteries: Two-6V In Series, or Two-12V In Parallel ???

Here is my voltage/power monitoring panel.



The three switches on the bottom left turn each meter on. The 120vac meter is on the right end of the meters, It shows both the voltage and current. The other 2 meters are the 12vdc voltage and current. They give me a pretty good picture of what is going on.

The meters were all bought on eBay. The total cost was probably less than $30.
