Reading up and that DiploStrat's recommendation for a Smartgauge seems to be the ideal monitor, but I have a problem with the $275 price tag. I do thank you for the "ideal" device.
I am thinking of giving Dakzuki's $18 volt meter with two accessories a stab. Not to rely on an accurate read-out, but rather as a better reference point than my green/yellow/red I have today. The two additional accessories would also come in handy.

tenbear,
Nice Panel! I have to ask why you "switched" them. Does a voltmeter draw power to operate? I was hoping to simply leave the voltage reading displayed 100% of the time. Is there any concern of doing so?
