I understand about the amp meter while charging. Though it would be really nice to have, I don't feel the need to monitor the charging at the control panel. Rather only when it is a good time to charge. I understand the lowest recommended voltage reading for charging would be 12.1v when everything is turned off. But the actual reading could be lower given some residual current draw within the motor home. I would need to first charge the batteries disconnected from the rig, then take a voltage reading before and after hooking up the batteries to determine that residual draw.
