What you do is one of the best kept secrets of a motorhome: Idle the main engine about 45 minutes in the middle of the night to put 25-30 amps back in.

Well anyway .... our idling main engine is quieter than any generator .... an expensive way to eliminate worry, but probably worth it. :)
