If you do this, be sure to put a low-current fuse in the line for each of the positives. Otherwise accidentally shorting out the studs with e.g. a wedding ring could be a very memorable experience.
For that matter, you could probably put in, say, a 1 kOhm resistor in the line and ensure that the power available is quite small while still not noticeably affecting the voltage measurements. A quarter watt resistor would suffice.
