Battery charger on chassis batteries permanently!
Can I safely do this?
I just bought Amp-L-start and it's not really charging that much. It charges and cuts out intermittently.
I can replace my old Heart interface with a new Magnum MS2012 and it's dual bank smart charger, but that's like $2 grand! :E:E
I am fed up with my radio draining my chassis batteries and I'm thinking of buying a $40 automatic 10 amp battery charger and hook it up permantly to my chassis batteries. This way I know that when I am plugged in to shore power or my generator is running my chassis batteries are being charged.
