I don't see where the original question was answered, how to reset the circuit breakers. That style of circuit breaker automatically resets when you disconnect the power to it. They are very common in marine applications. There is not a "reset" button. It sounds like it was doing it's job when you hooked up your freshly tested battery and it tripped. There was some type of down stream problem.
