michbill......If you look at the solenoid in the "Run Bay" outside bay under the driver's window, you'll see the solenoid in the lower left corner of the big black box.
You'll have two large (battery cable size) cables running to both sides of the solenoid. They'll be held on with 3/8" or 7/16" nuts. To bypass the solenoid, simply remove both cables and take a small nut and bolt and connect the two together. Once they're connected, tape then well with black electrical tape so that the metal cable ends and the bolt/nut are completely covered.
The safest way to do this is to turn your house batteries off while you do the work. It will taken you longer to find a small bolt/nut that fits the cable end holes than doing the work. Simple job.
