I am looking for recommendations for a battery minder for my chassis battery..

Another vote for Battery Tender brand. I use them at work to keep generators and response vehicles charged, on my Harley for when I'm not able to ride to keep it charged, as well as on the RV for exactly what you want to do...keep the chassis battery topped off and conditioned while it sits plugged in to shore power. It does an excellent job!
