Not at the rv, so I'm not sure what size the current 2 6 volt batteries are but will check tomorrow. The inverter is 1500 continuous, 3,000 surge, the inverter is about 2 feet from the batteries and connected using 1 gauge cable, the rv is a 2000 model, but the fridge is only a couple of years old, about 10 cu feet, could find no specs on it's draw. Will be looking for a couple of 6 volt batteries, was hoping not to spend a ton of bucks on the upgrade, but may have to, or resign myself to turning on the generator every couple of hours. Thanks to all for the input.
