what kind of battery can I replace my house battery with, does it matter weather I used a car battery or marine battery

car batteries don't hold charge all that well when drained. they're designed to use their peak power for a short time, then recharge. deep cycle work better for charging then discharged over a long period of time. I'm not explaining this correctly, there are articles on the difference. bottom line, both will work, one better than the other.
