Bay handles sticking

I have a 2012 Winnebago Journey. The handles to the bays are starting to stick and getting hard to open. Does anyone have an idea where to lubricate them. Thanks.
  • Is it a lubrication issue or a latch adjustment issue? I have to periodically adjust the latches, probably due to flexing of the body.

X-2,This is what I do to the latches on my Winnebago every spring.
  • Do NOT use anything that has 'graphite' in it.

I did and ended up with huge black streaks all over my MH.

Buy a can of 100% Pure Silicone Spray.
Sometimes Hard to find but ACE and Do-It-Best usually carries it.

Beware though, read the entire label a lot of the cans labeled Silicone STILL add graphite to it.

Just spray it on the back side where the screw/washer is seems thats where they start hanging up.

  • Could try dry lube. Open door pull on latch and spray into the latch area. Might need to take apart and clean if gunked up.
