Beat the heat in the Southwest
We're new to camping and live in Las Vegas. Trying to find good campgrounds no more than 3-4 hours away that will allow us to get away from the heat. Any ideas?

The campgrounds up on Mt.Charleston are over 7000ft. Should be cooler up there than Vegas.
