The riser fits down on the existing mount (with its own seal) and bolt set, then the toilet sits on top of the riser (with its own seal & bolts)....very easy.
Ive had it in place for a little more than a year and probably 10k miles or more with out any issues.
it requires ZERO modification to the floor or plumbing - so if you don't like it or change your mind, it can easily be removed & returned to "stock".
