Best way to handle a late night knock on your door

I have always had the mindset to trust, but verify. Verify is my 9MM.

I conceal carry. I would never pull it unless the next step is to use it. My wife stands behind me with the Defender.

This is 2016. There are some crazy a$$ people out there these days. Not worth sacrificing my family for an incident.

Rest areas, truck stops, and Wal-Mart. Seriously, being cautious in those places is prudent.

Couple in NM were kidnapped in their truck camper and killed.
