Best way to keep chassis battery charged over winter?

We have a 2014 Itasca Navion which has a Progressive PD 9245 converter/charger which has the built in "Charge Wizard" to keep the coach batteries charged. I don't understand why they don't hook up ...

If we are not using the rig I take it out for a drive once a month and also run the generator so that keeps the chassis battery charged. The house batteries are AGMs so they self-discharge slowly anyway.
