Charging chassis batteries

The "E" is a "3" upside down. Purple fuses are 3A fuses in the standard automotive fuse color scheme.

I hope that doesn't make you feel foolish. Supposedly some people wonder for a long time what the 710 cap on their engine is for.

It tripped because of the Dead 12 volts. Either Push the reset button on it a few times or push the Battery disconnect OFF and then back on. Doug

Well I got her started. It did take at least 5 hours plugged in with the AUX START button stuck on. I'll try tomorrow to see if it stays up. Thanks for all the help!

I fear I cannot help any further. I am not on my coach to run out and take a look (it's in the shop). My guess is that any light on indicates it is getting juice from someplace, not good if you are not on shore power.

I looked yesterday and didn't see any charging/jump posts. I've seen them on some vehicles I've had with the battery buried. I'm going to try and use my battery charger on the front battery. From another forum I was told to use something to keep the "AUX START" button down and this will let the chassis batteries be charged by the coach battery charging system. Only problem is its tripping a breaker.

It will charge both Chassis batteries, but will not charge the Coach Batteries. Doug

If they are connected in parallel, yes. But no need to take my word for it... use your voltmeter.
