Best way to keep chassis battery charged over winter?

We have a 2014 Itasca Navion which has a Progressive PD 9245 converter/charger which has the built in "Charge Wizard" to keep the coach batteries charged. I don't understand why they don't hook up ...

The Trik-L-Start technically charges the chassis battery from the house battery. There is no 120v power going to it at all.

The 120v is for the converter to charge the house battery so it has power for the Trik-L-Start to siphon off.
