Update....
Running wire from camera to bottom of RV is a task that I;m not sure I want to do. For a clean install, I would have to remove the fiberglass caps on the rear of my RV to run wires behind them. This would mean removing caps, removall all caulking, in stalling cable, reinstalling caps and recaulking all seams/edges.
Not sure I want to go through all of this.
I am now leaning towards the wireless version by same manufacturer, Rear View Safety. The retrun to Costco is easy. However, the purchase of a wireless version (not sold by Costco) would have to be directly from manufacturer, as it is not sold by Costco.....with less of a warranty compared to Costco, as well as hassles of returning if needed.
I read here that MacZulu has had good luck with his wireless version.
Any other want to share their experiences with the wireless version by Rear View Safety?
