Thanks for the replies that put a smile on my face. Good news- I did a darn good repair job myself. I bent back the awning by securing it to a tree with a rope, then replaced the ripped out screws to the body of the rv with bigger bolts. added a couple extra to shore it up. Tucked in the part of the awning that was pulled out, and voilà !
All I have to do now is caulk and it's done. Not showroom new, but considering I just saved 2000.00, I couldn't be more impressed with myself! :C
Take it from me- check, check again, then repeat! :o
