Our 2007 E350-V10 rig pictured is very aero-dynamic considering it is a class C (B+). It has the following A.D. features.
- B+ top cap
- angled transition walls (between van and house)
- narrow 93" width
- low 8'- 9" roof height
- front bumper cover
- 23'-8" over-all length
- rig with people, water, gear, etc. weighs less than 10,300 pounds on trips
We have towed and not towed yielding these "total trip" 3000-5000 mile averages, all starting in the Chicago area, travelling across the great plains, to & from mountain & canyon regions of the country.
1) 10.5 mpg - not towing
2) 9.6 mpg - towing a 2200 pound 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder
3) 9.3 mpg - towing a 4200 pound 2006 Jeep Liberty 4x4
The beauty of towing the MR2 Spyder was that it got 30 mpg so we saved a lot of gas considering that once at our destinations, we got great fuel economy when touring.

Conventional class-C's with huge cab-over beds, tall, wide, long, boxy, heavy, are claiming around 8 mpg. I don't know how those figures are calculated or averaged, but that does not seem to align with my own figures.
