Bill Myers is one of the most admired authors about RVs and I'm one of his admirers but consider this statement
"Winnebago Adventurer – one of Winnebago’s best selling units, the Adventurer is a well built, well outfitted, reliable motorhome. Low mileage, like-new units six to eight years young can be found starting at under $20,000."
But I can't verify this using searchtempest.com which allows one to search craigslist listings from California to Florida. Bill Myers says that Rvs get cheaper as you move from west to east but I have found that to be only a little true. And finding a 2012 or 2010 Adventurer under $20K ? Not even close - more like $40K
What does everyone think - what is your experience?
"BUYING A USED MOTORHOME – HOW TO GET THE MOST FOR YOUR MONEY AND NOT GET BURNED"
Bill Myers
When was that book written? He may be a great writer but out of touch with current market.
What is your budget?
I would not be fixated on just Winnebagos There are several manufactuers out there as good as or better.
I would start watching places like ppl.com. It is a consignment lot and will have some of the better prices. I found this on a quick search.
