OK,
This is getting weird. The compartments lock in a pattern of almost exactly 10 seconds apart. I timed the locking and here is what I got:
10.60 seconds
10.67 seconds
10.65 seconds
10.63 seconds
10.65 seconds
This makes no sense!
I Like weird. Been that way my whole life. Anyway, not sure if this will help or not. We haven an '04 Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330 CAT and, it too has remote locking cabinets and entry door. Our remotes occasionally act up and will un lock or lock the door solenoids. Anyway, I thought I might throw this at ya for a try. If you know where it's at, or don't, find your Security or, Keyless Entry Module.
On our coach, it's in the left front compartment, along with a zillion other components, breakers, relays and more. But, on your coach, not a clue where it could be. But, in any case, just for the heck of it, re-program your remote(s). For this, you will need to know where that module is. The reason, if you don't know, is because if your module is like mine, then you'll need to push on a button, right in the middle of that module as you're pressing on the ones in the remote(s).
Now, the reason I'm suggesting this action to you is, maybe, just maybe, your Security Module is having a fit, due to the actions of your messing the battery and connections. This is all just a guess. But, based on the fact that so far, nothing else has worked for you to alleviate this issue. Just some ideas.
Scott
This is likely where mine is as well - that's where there are lots of fuses and things.
What does it look like?
OK,
You were on the right track. I found the security module, and when I unplugged it, it stopped happening. So it's good that we've narrowed it down.
So my assumption is that I need to replace it . . . any other thoughts?
