Bizarre holding tank problem! It fills up on its own!

Dave,

Just curious. Where are you camping that you are hooked up to well or city water and they allow you to dump your gray water on the ground? Have you considered simply leaving your gray tank dump valve open a crack? Why even close it at all? If you are concerned about pests entering the tank, you could setup a P trap outside.
