Black Jack Roof Guard 700

Our Class A roof needs to be coated.
Someone told DH that a relative used Black Jack Roof Guard 700 on their MH roof.

Has anyone else used this and what are the pros and cons?
I read on-line and it doesn't mention MH roofs. The red can says it is good for metal, tile or built up roofing.

The blue can says it is Ideal for metal, tile, shingle, and built-up roofing

It doesn't say anything about rubber.

I'm wondering what will happen when the stuff deteriorates -- I don't want to find out a couple years down the road that we created a bigger problem for ourselves.

  • I really like EDPM rubber roof coatings. "Paint them on" let it dry, and get back to camping.
  • Check out EDPM liquid rubber products products on here. There are a number of post. You want the liquid rubber products.
  • If it really needs coating, then I'd go to an RV store and get stuff made for rubber RV roofs, not some industrial goo. The RV stuff may cost a few bucks more, but may well be worth the cost.

You might also want to do a google search for RV roof armor. No experience with it, but it looks great. Albeit a bit pricey maybe.
