Black streaks (Under Window)

We have also found the streaks under the black window frames to be harder to remove. We only get them on the ones not covered by awnings. I tried Awesome cleaner and it didn't work very well. A camper told me about Mean Green Mildew Destroyer that can be purchased at some Dollar General stores. He found some for me and I tried it. Worked great. It does have some bleach in it also, but works much better than bleach. I read somewhere about a product you could put on the frames that protected them from UV rays and helped top the streaking, but I don't remember what it was or which forum I read it on. Anyone know what it was?
