Water streaks on side windows

The white film left is from the fiberglass cap/rear and damage from sun - oxidation. You need to use a cleaner that will remove the oxidation and then apply a good wax to seal it. We have had this on our motorhome and this is how we took care of the problem. I used barkeepers friend and a sponge on the windows to remove the film - light pressure only as it is abrasive. Then followed up with regular window cleaner.

Clean and Mop 'n Glow the roof. 2 coats works best.

We have had our Mh stored indoors for years, many years and not much problem but in April our storage facility was sold. In Tn we had lots of rain. Washed before leaving i late My for Michigan lots of rain and streaks, washed there again, Came home to new storage, but outside. Lots of white on sides and windows. On way to Az lots of hard rain in Texas. Got to Az and cleaned bu not top. Bathed it a few days ago. No spotless and no rain in sight, but dust every where. The sealant is killed by the sun and heat. No heat.It's down right cold at night. When we head back east will have it wased again top to bottom. $65.00 top sides spray waxed and hand dried and tires dressed.
At home it is 100.00 and over and not including the top. A new inside storage unit is awaiting us and though costly the roof and everything else will be protected and not so many streaks.
It rained most of the spring and summer at home. So unlike most of time it is wet.

I try to keep my roof clean and I have those gutter extensions. I really haven't had much problem although I have had a few minor streaks but nothing that bothers me much and nothing that won't wash off easily with glass cleaner.

Our gutters with the smaller extensions receive the water but a few other places, overload the gutters apparently. Very minor air currents etc push it back onto the coach. The gutters should be bigger and the spouts a lot longer which is impractical. Dams of Dicor is not a great idea. The best situation would be permanent non bleeding sealant. Also, it would save 700.00 or 800.00 having everything up top resealed every year or two or three. Yeah I know we can do it ourselves if I was still young and spry and balance wasn't awry.

Sounds like something to live with and clean windows every so often.

An RV gutter is what? 1/2"x1/2"? Feel lucky if it can divert the morning dew to the spouts and that's if the manufacturer put them on straight without a 1" dip in the center. Good luck with that.

If you built an 8' x 32' shed would you put a 1/2" gutter on it?

This was my original idea, but the dealer says don't do that, it will void roof warranty. ?????? Even if I use the same sealant they use around the vents, A/C, etc.? It is a vaulted roof so it shouldn't cause any water to "sit" along the seal of the front top cap.

The light colored deposits on mine need a razor blade or 0000 steel wool (gently) to remove.
I've heard that a crumpled up newspaper and Coke will remove almost anything......but I haven't tried it for this particular problem.

That is on the glass. Stains on fiberglass is a whole different subject.
