That all depends. It could be as little as a minute or two or, 10 minutes, depending on if you think you've got "solids" that you're having a hard time getting out of the tank. Since the tanks are not "glass or, clear plastic" it's hard to tell if a flush from a built in flushing system is doing its job or not. It's kind of a trial and error thing.
