I've been RVing a long while and primarily used "LEGOS" for under stabilizers in TT. Now have 38ft Class A weighing about 24K lbs and am unsure what to use under auto-leveling jack pads and under tires if they are leaving ground. Are the "LEGOS" strong enough? They are almost the same size as the jack pads (I do have large plastic landing pads for when on dirt or asphalt). What are recommended for under jacks to keep them from having to extend so far? If wood, what size boards? I prefer lighter weight or something that doesn't collect moisture and bugs so easily. I am trying to make a decision between weight and convenience and cost. They will have to be stored in the bins of the MH or inside toad car, as I do not have a truck or open storage for wet, nasty boards..

I used several layers of playwood nailed and glued together to form a block 1.5" thick. I have four of those. I also carry four other 3/4" boards to adjust as needed but I rarely need those.

We full time and can't rely on cobbling together wood pads, so we bought these RoadWarrior Jack Pads.

I use square blocks cut from a 4x6, and more blocks from 2x6 stock and even some squares of 1 by material. My jacks don't need to deploy much. It's not the lightest, but not too bad either.

Plywood blocks 1' sq, several pieces glued and screwed for 2" thick. Cut off one corner, install eyelet and rope loop.

under the jacks, is wood or some black plastic jack pads the previous owner left in the rv for mei use the orange blocks only for the wheelsi damage a couple of them putting them under the jacks

i use the orange blocks only for the wheels
i damage a couple of them putting them under the jacks

my legos were not wide enough to support the sidewalls of the tires on my class A.
they would work on a TT however.

i just drilled a hole in one corner and looped some nylon cord through it

I got some plywood called fin form (sp?) from united rentals. We used it in the fire services for shoring up trenches. Extremely strong. I get a sheet that had a piece cut out of it and cut some pads. Been using them for 10 years now.

that is actually what I was wondering, as I will be fulltiming. Previously I have been lucky enough to be in fairly level sites, so haven't had to stack wood pads.. So are these things you recommend really $25 each? How many would you recommend? I do have four plastic jack pads.. but they are very thin and warp easily.
