Same here on our 2006 Phaeton with a Xantrex inverter. Overload will trip one of the two breakers on the front of the inverter, in our case the lower one. Has very seldom tripped a breaker in the circuit box. In our case it is the TV, sat receiver, microwave or coffeemaker, small electric disc heater and a 1200 watt hair dryer.
