Jimmmy,I would check to see if the old gasket from your oil filter stuck to the sealing area causing the leak.
Thanks Gjac, but it's all new stuff. I took the oil cooler adapter off of the old engine and installed it on the new one while the engine was out. There was no old gasket on it. The gasket between the adapter and the block is new, and the oil filter is new. There's oil dripping off the cooler lines, which is well above the filter, and off of the oil pressure cut-out switch (for the fuel pump) which is even higher yet. I guess it was blowing everywhere from a combination of pressure and fan/road wind.
It looks like *maybe* the gasket between the block and oil cooler adapter might be leaking. Bolts might have loosened up, which would be kind of an easy fix. The bolts are in the filter housing - just remove the filter and tighten them up. The factory ones had loc-tite on them, which I didn't do when I put it back on. If it's not that, it's not going to be fun to fix. The exhaust pipe is in the way of anything else I need to wrench on in that area. It would need to come off, and it was a real pain in the butt to get installed in the first place. You have to angle the pipe just right so it clears the oil filter but still lines up with the manifold.
