The insurance company said they would pay to tear it down.. And I decided to wait till I'm right close to the total job amount before I have it hauled back to the repair place.
Sounds like you have a plan and that's important. Take some time off the road, enjoy the community around you and save a few bucks. In the mean time stay on the board and we can still benefit from your RV and life experience.
