Blue Ox TruCenter Installation Assistance Needed

I have a 2004 coach on a Freightliner chassis and have purchased the TruCenter steering stabilizer. If anyone has installed one of these, I have some questions. It says to connect it to a keyed 12...

Find or run a wire. put volt meter on said wire and check for voltage. If volts then not keyed if key is in off position. Next turn on key and check voltage, should have 12+ volts, turn off key , no voltage.
