bracket on slide out
I just picked up a 2006 Coachmen Leprechaun 318DS and there is a bracket on the outside of the driver side slide out that looks like an oval and has a horizontal slot about the size of a credit card. ...

After looking at a photo of a '06 Leprechaun, it doesn't appear to be an owner add on, as this one had it too, go to a local Coachman dealer & ask them what it is, and then come back & let us know too.;)
I noticed it on pictures of other Leprechauns also. A dinette seat is on the other side of it. The plywood base of the seat is screwed down so I have not pulled it up to see the backside yet. I guess I am going to have to.
