I just picked up a 2006 Coachmen Leprechaun 318DS and there is a bracket on the outside of the driver side slide out that looks like an oval and has a horizontal slot about the size of a credit card. Any idea what it would be for?

A place for your credit card to pay the slide-out fee??? Post a picture...

If the lid pops open, there maybe a crank or should be a crank to turn a worm gear. Only would need about a 1.5 inch opening.
