I did something similar when using my Ready Brake. I simply plugged into my Toweds flat trailer plug, ran that to the front with another plug at the end. Then, when hooking up, I had a plug at the rear of the motor home that I would plug into the line coming from the trailer plug on the towed. That ran up to a tiny light in the MH dash. When the towed brake lights would come on, the light would come on, on the dash in the MH. Very simple, but works fine.
