Your opening line reminded me of last Christmas (2014) On the 18th I went to pick up a new pair of glasses.... An idiot pulled out in front of me and I spiked the brakes, I missed him (not by much) and, as it turns out, blew a brake cylinder... Well a while later I started to notice the soft pedal so I headed to the shop.. And like you the Dash Warning light came on.
AS I PULLED INTO THE SHOP PARKING LOT.
if you got to have that light come on.. Good spot for it don't you think?
That was the bad news.. The good news is I still made it to my Gig on time (Opening act for a very fine music group).
