Ron - Easiest route is full suspension replacement. I know of one owner who did only the outboard because shipping the full assembly was cost prohibitive for him. Doing the full job requires unbolting the twin I-beams, the radius arm brackets, and the sway bar brackets, along with R&R of the ABS sensors and brake lines.
Quigley sells their take-off axle for a little less than QuadVan, and I imagine shipping to IL is cheaper too from PA.
Besides the rotors being bigger, the pads have much more swept area and the calipers are quite a bit larger. I used to crack through my rotors in 6-months. Cryo treating only marginally helped. New axle solved my heat problems completely. I actually went through rotors faster than pads.
