I'm not sure that I would ever trust a mechanic that told you not to worry about a factory recall, if you were not experiencing any problems. The recall work MUST be done at a Workhorse approved facility. Not every shop is approved for this work. I would call and ask if they are certified to do the WH recall and if they have the parts in stock. If continuing to drive the coach, instead of having the recall work done, has caused any additional damage, it will be your responsibility.
This recall has been in effect for over three years. Mine took less than 1 hour for the shop to replace ALL four calipers. No other work was required. If you do need additional parts, this may be a cost that you will have to pay.
