Brakebuddy Service

I wish to share my praise for the Great Customer Service I received from Hopkins Mfg. for my Brakebuddy repair. Started out with a call to them about problem with the digital pressure gauge not reading correctly. Note, I had just purchased the BB Classic used and was only seeking advice on a possible DIY fix. After a brief conversation with Gary in tech support I was asked for the Serial # which I found and gave to them. He promptly informed me it was a bad gauge and it would be replaced under warranty (shock # 1). I packaged it up and sent it off. With a 1 day turn around after they received (shock #2)it it was returned to me with not only the gauge replaced but the unit was completely check over and many other repairs done at at NO Charge to me (shock #3). I could not have asked for better Customer Service. They have won me as not only a Customer but an advocate of a great product and outstanding personnel.

    Wow, first gator I met that felt this way,at least this year...lol.....but I know you'll all be back...
    great year for us...anyhow...Son went to FSU and Daughter and SIL went to Uconn....think you remember both those teams.....lol.....And I'm sure you guys will be up there along with the BB team in football in the near future....

    really, that's too bad on your Brake Buddy....PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU AREN'T A GATOR......:)
  • I would agree about their customer service, it's pretty good. I have had more than enough problems with mine including changing out the plug for the electrical hook up, I think three times, and having it rebuilt (electrical inside) once. Now it seems to be taking a long time to pressure back up. If mine goes out again, I'll go with another product.
  • Over the years we have had great service for our Brake Buddy. Several times they even sent a temporary replacement so we could travel while waiting for fixes and updates. On one run we stopped by their shop on the way back home to swap the temporary unit for our fixed unit. Darn good service!!:B
  • I have no comment about the Brake Buddy...just good to see another GATOR on this forum...Go Gators!!
  • That is great to hear as that is the system I use for towing! Glad to hear that some companies still believe in the customer service attitude.
